Luke Bryan to Appear on ‘Good Morning America’ This Week
Between touring with Jason Aldean and promoting his multi-week No. 1 single ‘Drunk on You’, Luke Bryan is in the midst of a seriously busy summer. But that’s not going to stop the award-winning country star from stepping onstage in Central Park on Friday (July 13) to play a set for the ‘Good Morning America’ Summer Concert Series.
Bryan’s bang-up summer has also included ‘Drunk on You’ achieving platinum status, winning the Male Video of the Year Award at the CMT Awards and — unfortunately — making headlines for having his (and his wife’s!) identity stolen via Facebook. Still, the hitmaker is extremely humble about making time for his fans — especially when that means having his name in lights in Central Park
Farm Aid Coming to Hershey, Pa.
Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews will host the annual Farm Aid concert on Sept. 22 in Hershey, Pa. The lineup will also feature Jack Johnson, ALO, Pegi Young and the Survivors, and Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real. The first Farm Aid concert was held in 1985. Since then the organization has raised more than $40 million for family farmers. Tickets for this year’s show go on sale Friday (July 13). The Farm Aid concert will return to Pennsylvania for the first time since 2002, when it was staged in Burgettstown, near Pittsburgh
One Florida woman clearly believes that revenge is a dish best served cold
Nurse Dawn Elaine Barran, 45, allegedly attacked her husband with a bag of ice cream after catching him at a drug store with another woman
Barran spotted her husband and “his current girlfriend” inside a Walgreen’s store on July 1, according to the arrest affidavit. She and her husband began to argue over the other woman before Barran picked up a bag of ice cream, just purchased by her husband, and hit him square in the head with it, police say.
The affidavit states that the husband and his alleged girlfriend tried to leave the store, Barran followed them, hitting the man with her fist and car keys.
Barran was arrested later that day at her home on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge. Her husband suffered scratches to his hand and chest
