Trace Adkins Welcomes Grandchild
Father’s Day was Sunday, but Trace Adkins celebrated early. Adkins has become a grandfather to a boy named in his honor. Jackson Trace Webber was born on June 6th to Trace’s eldest daughter, Tarah. To mark Father’s Day, the proud grandfather posted pictures of himself and the newborn – as well as his own father, Aaron – on his Facebook page. Trace also shared the photos with People, and in an interview with the magazine he said he might spend Father’s Day planting apple and peach trees in the grove his wife, Rhonda, and daughters gave him last year. “There’s nothing more satisfying than to watch them grow – that goes for the little ones and the trees,” he said.
Kenny Chesney Says ‘No’ To Reality Television
Kenny Chesney recently dismissed any notion of associating himself with a reality television show or a singing competition. “Uh, no – not really,” Chesney tells Taste of Country when asked if he’d consider it. “I don’t think I’d be too good at judging a talent contest or mentoring anyone.” “I haven’t watched a lot of those shows in the first place,” he admits. “It’s up to anybody to find their own path and realize their dream anyway they want to do it. I’m not condoning it at all, but I don’t see myself being a part of anything like that really.” Fans hoping to catch Chesney on the small screen can tune in to ESPN for the singer’s hysterical new commercial. The ESPN spot shows Kenny attempting to ignore Steve Levy as the popular sportscaster tries to sit with him at the cafeteria’s “cool table.”
