‘The Voice’ Coaches Become Mup­pets on ‘Sesame Street’

If you’ve ever won­dered what coaches of “The Voice” would look like in the eyes of the late Jim Hen­son, now you know. For its upcom­ing 43rd sea­son, “Sesame Street” has made mup­pets out of Blake Shel­ton, Christina Aguil­era, Cee Lo Green and show host Car­son Daly. While we’re not entirely sure why Maroon 5’s Adam Levine didn’t make the cut, we are highly enter­tained by the fun and infor­ma­tive pre­view of the preschooler-friendly skit

Whether or not the coaches were involved, or knew that this was com­ing, they would likely appre­ci­ate it. The inhab­i­tants of the now-famous swivel chairs have made a habit out of pok­ing fun at themselves.

Randy Travis Arrested for Sus­pi­cion of DWI

Randy Travis has had another run-in with the law. The Asso­ci­ated Press reports that the coun­try icon has been charged with dri­ving while intox­i­cated, as well as retal­i­a­tion, after crash­ing his car Tues­day night (Aug. 7). The lat­ter charge, accord­ing to TMZ, allegedly came after the singer ver­bally threat­ened the arrest­ing offi­cer. This is the sec­ond time behind bars this year for the Texas res­i­dent, who was arrested Feb. 6 for pub­lic intox­i­ca­tion in Sanger, Texas, after police found him parked out­side a church with an open bot­tle of wine.

The most recent inci­dent occurred in North Texas, near Randy’s home of Tioga, around mid­night. Luck­ily, no one was seri­ously injured in the single-car crash, though the singer did have sev­eral cuts and bruises on his face, as seen in his mugshot. He is cur­rently jailed in Sher­man wait­ing to post bond, which is $1,500 for the mis­de­meanor DWI charge and $20,000 for the felony retal­i­a­tion charge.Randy was found lying naked in the road after the crash

But the big ques­tion remains: will Tay­lor reveal plans for her hotly-anticipated fourth album?

Nat­u­rally, when it comes to the young global icon, per­sonal rela­tion­ships — as in “is-she-or-isn’t-she-dating [fill in the blank]” — are a hot topic, but it’s likely Tay­lor will limit her­self to address­ing that sub­ject in the new songs on the upcom­ing album, news of which she’s been teas­ing fans with via Twit­ter for the past few months.
