Tim McGraw Releasing New Single ‘Truck Yeah’ to Radio

After weeks of antic­i­pa­tion, Tim McGraw has finally announced that his new sin­gle from his forth­com­ing new album will be released ‘Truck Yeah’ is set impact coun­try radio coast-to-coast. The new tune will be McGraw’s Big Machine Records debut after part­ing ways with long-time label Curb Records last year.

Many fans have already had the chance to hear the new song, as McGraw has been clos­ing out his show with the sure-fire hit since open­ing night of the Broth­ers of the Sun Tour (also fea­tur­ing Kenny Ches­ney). YouTube instantly lit up with fan-captured videos of the fired-up tune, and McGraw has been encour­ag­ing fans to use the hash­tag ‘#truck­yeah’ as often as pos­si­ble when on Twit­ter, mak­ing the phrase become one of the most-used tag lines recently on the social media website

 

Zac Brown Band Tak­ing Over Nashville
Zac Brown is infil­trat­ing Nashville. He just opened up a record­ing stu­dio on Music Row for his South­ern Ground Artists record label. Now he has plans to even­tu­ally open a restau­rant and a bar in Nashville. For now, Brown and his band will be bring­ing their South­ern Ground Music and Food Fes­ti­val to Music City on Sep­tem­ber 21–22. It fea­tures a diverse musi­cal lineup and gourmet food pre­pared by award-winning chefs. Zac Brown Band’s new “Uncaged” album is due out July 10th

 

E.T.’ Star To Play Hank Williams In New Film
The child star who befriended “E.T.: The Extra Ter­res­trial” has signed on to play coun­try leg­end Hank Williams in a quirky new biopic. Henry Thomas, now 40, plays the late singer/songwriter in upcom­ing movie “The Last Ride,” which chron­i­cles the final days of Williams’ life. Williams died of heart fail­ure on New Year’s Day, 1953. He was 29. The debut of “The Last Ride” will com­mence June 29th in New York and Los Ange­les. The the­atri­cal release will be across the coun­try thereafter
