No one had a busier 2012 than Blake Shel­ton, and the pres­sure of bal­anc­ing his many respon­si­bil­i­ties nearly forced him to quit The Voice. The coach, who filmed three sea­sons of the hit NBC show in 2012, recently recalled his near break­down to Wet­paint. “Oh my God. It sucked,” Who could blame him? Blake was “doing sea­son three of The Voice, Sea­son 4 of The Voice, CMAs, and [his] Christ­mas spe­cial all within like three weeks of each other.” The singer admits at one point, “I called my man­ager, and was like, ‘That’s it. I quit. I just quit. Fig­ure it out. I’m going home.’” Luck­ily Blake recon­sid­ered, and is “hav­ing a ball doing it right now.” Sea­son 4 of The Voice begins March 25.
