Inter­est­ing guys… I had the same expres­sion on my face when I watched the video!  I’m a HUGE Eli Young Band fan… and I was wait­ing on pins and nee­dles for the “Say Good­night” video.  They made the announce­ment on their Face­book page and I was prac­ti­cally bounc­ing in my stu­dio roller-chair when I clicked to view. I watched… then watched again… and thought.… “Whuh?!”

I didn’t get it!  The song is warm, invit­ing and (dare I say) inti­mate.  I didn’t con­nect how “Oh won’t you let me pull you into me - Go wher­ever all these kisses lead - Turn down the bed - Turn out the lights…” trans­lates into hit­ting a sil­ver C3PO, tak­ing it home and teach­ing it man­ners like you would a tod­dler and cry­ing when it goes back home.  It’s like “Star Wars” crashed into “E.T.” and landed in a pud­dle of “Close Encoun­ters of the Third Kind” all set to the back­ground of “Say Good­night”.  Does. Not. Compute!
