The singer tells Us Weekly that she began to bawl in her kitchen the moment she heard her new sin­gle “Amer­i­can Heart.” Faith added that “the song’s lyric inspires,” and “it grabs hold of a very spe­cial place that we all have in our hearts.” Faith and her hus­band, Tim McGraw, will be putting their Las Vegas Soul2Soul shows on hold over the hol­i­days. Faith and Tim will spend Christ­mas at their Nashville home, and have plans that include “lots of bak­ing!” The cou­ple will return to The Venet­ian Las Vegas for their Soul2Soul shows, on Jan­u­ary 18th.
