Fans can expect more laughs and valu­able lessons from Reba McEn­tire, as ABC has ordered five addi­tional episodes of her new series, Mal­ibu Coun­try. The coun­try singer por­trays a sin­gle mom who has to uproot her fam­ily from Nashville to Cal­i­for­nia, after learn­ing about her husband’s affair. Reba hopes moth­ers in par­tic­u­lar, can relate to the chal­lenges her char­ac­ter faces.

Accord­ing to The Hol­ly­wood Reporter, Mal­ibu Coun­try wasn’t the only com­edy series ABC wanted more of – Tim Allen’s Last Man Stand­ing was picked up for five addi­tional episodes as well. Mal­ibu Coun­try airs Fri­days at 8:30PM East­ern on ABC.
