Tay­lor Swift’s lat­est album, Red, is near­ing the 3 mil­lion mark in sales, with over 200,000 copies sold per week over the hol­i­days – accord­ing to Nielsen Sound­Scan. Unlike her pre­vi­ous project, Speak Now, Tay­lor col­lab­o­rated with co-writers for a few tracks on Red. She admits that team­ing up with song­writ­ers helped her find direc­tion for cer­tain lyrics.

Accord­ing to Bill­board, Red was the best-selling coun­try album of 2012, and the sec­ond best-seller over­all– behind Adele’s 21. Taylor’s lat­est album should be cer­ti­fied triple-Platinum in no time, with 2.9 mil­lion already sold.
