After col­lect­ing his 5th #1 hit with “Every Storm (Runs Out Of Rain),” Gary Allan scored his third #1 album debut this week with Set You Free. The singer claimed the top spot on the Bill­board Coun­try Albums Chart and Bill­board Top 200 – and this marks the first time Gary has been #1 on the all-genre chart. More than 100,000 copies were sold in the first week of its release, but Gary admits he had a lit­tle anx­i­ety about how fans would react to his new music.

Set You Free is already off to an impres­sive start, as the first sin­gle from the project, “Every Storm (Runs Out Of Rain),” was cer­ti­fied Gold for sell­ing over 500,000 copies. Gary plans to release “Pieces” off of Set You Free, as the follow-up to his #1 hit.
