Taylor Swift’s massive hit, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” just garnered a Grammy nomination for Record of the Year, and was also named one of Time Magazine’s Top 10 Songs of the Year. It was the first single Taylor released off of her album Red, and she admits she was going through intense emotions when writing the song.

According to Billboard, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” sets an all-time record for the most weeks at #1 by a solo female — surpassing Connie Smith’s eight weeks with “Once a Day” in 1964. Taylor also received two additional Grammy nominations in the Best Country Duo/Group Performance and Best Song Written For Visual Media cateogy, with The Civil Wars for “Safe and Sound.”
