Blake Shelton is the reigning champ of NBC’s The Voice, as his team took home the winning title for a second consecutive season. Both “Team Blake” members — Cassadee Pope and Terry McDermott – were announced as the Top 2 finalists, beating “Team Cee Lo” contestant, Nicholas David. It was Cassadee who was crowned The Voice, after singing Faith Hill’s “Cry,” during the finals. Blake couldn’t be happier to shine light on new artists like Cassadee, and he does not take his position as a judge for granted.
Blake will be back to judge the next season of The Voice along with Adam Levine. The show will introduce two new judges, as Shakira and Usher replace Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green.
