Keith Urban recently joined Amer­i­can Idol’s host Ryan Seacrest and fel­low Idol judge Randy Jack­son on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The Idol trio talked about the upcom­ing sea­son of the real­ity show and the drama that took place between the new judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey. Carey and Minaj got into a heated argu­ment dur­ing the show’s audi­tion phase with Urban sit­ting between the two duel­ing divas. Keith told Jay Leno about being the neu­tral party in the whole ordeal, say­ing, “I was some­what Switzer­land between them for a moment.
