Ras­cal Flatts and Hay­den Panet­tiere will be host­ing “CMT Artists of the Year.” It will air Decem­ber 8th on CMT. The 90-minute TV spe­cial will cel­e­brate the top five coun­try artists with per­for­mances and spe­cial guest appear­ances. Jay DeMar­cus of Ras­cal Flatts says they’re “gonna have a blast” host­ing. Panet­tiere calls Nashville her sec­ond home now that she’s star­ring on the hit show “Nashville.” She says she “can’t wait to see how the evening unfolds.” The hon­orees won’t be announced until the night of the taping.
