Just before Thanks­giv­ing, Lit­tle Big Town mem­ber Kim­berly Schlapman’s brother-in-law Allen was killed in a traf­fic acci­dent while vis­it­ing his fam­ily in Ten­nessee for the hol­i­day. Thomas Allen Schlap­man, 45, of Lynch­burg, Vir­ginia, died at Williamson Med­ical Cen­ter after his motor­cy­cle was struck by an oncom­ing car that crossed the cen­ter line on Franklin Road. The car’s dri­ver, Gre­gory Pow­ers, 46, is fac­ing vehic­u­lar homi­cide charges for dri­ving under the influence.
