Kix was due to head­line a free radio sta­tion show at the Jack­sonville Vet­er­ans Memo­r­ial Arena in Florida, but he had to pull out of the gig after expe­ri­enc­ing prob­lems with his voice. After hear­ing the news while on vaca­tion with his fam­ily, for­mer Brooks & Dunn duo part­ner Ron­nie Dunn vol­un­teered to step-in and per­form for the fans.
