Every­body knows about the black out that caused half of the lights in the Super­dome to go dark dur­ing the Super Bowl on Sun­day. Brad Pais­ley reveals that the power out­age actu­ally prompted him to go do some­thing else with his time. Pais­ley told a Min­neapo­lis radio sta­tion, “I turned it off. Once the power went out, I actu­ally went to a movie. I was the only one there.” And what movie is bet­ter than watch­ing the San Fran­cisco 49ers try a come­back against the Bal­ti­more Ravens in the biggest foot­ball game of the year? Brad shares, “I went to go see The Hob­bit because I have wanted to see it and never have had three hours over the last cou­ple of months. There is noth­ing geekier than skip­ping the Super Bowl and going to see The Hobbit.”
