Jason Aldean was caught swoop­ing in for a kiss from a woman who is not his wife while at a bar on the Sun­set Strip in Los Ange­les on Wednes­day. Aldean and the other woman, iden­ti­fied as for­mer “Amer­i­can Idol” con­tes­tant Brit­tany Kerr, were flirt­ing through­out the encounter. TMZ said they hugged and touched each other on the patio area of The Den. Aldean left the bar in a cab with­out her. Aldean is mar­ried to his high school sweet­heart, Jes­sica Ussery, who is mother to his two chil­dren. Kerr was the NBA dancer who audi­tioned for “Idol” sea­son 11 in Savan­nah, Geor­gia. and went through to the Hol­ly­wood round. Yes­ter­day, Aldean explained what led to his inap­pro­pri­ate actions, admit­ting he’d had too much to drink. “The truth is that I screwed up,” he said. “I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inap­pro­pri­ately at a bar. I left alone, caught the bus to our next show and that’s the end of the story. I ulti­mately ended up embar­rass­ing my fam­ily and myself. I’m not per­fect, and I’m sorry for dis­ap­point­ing you guys.”
