Lady Ante­bel­lum announced the release of their upcom­ing album while appear­ing on ABC’s Good Morn­ing Amer­ica yes­ter­day. The new record, Golden, is the trio’s fourth stu­dio album and will be released on May 7. The album’s title is also the name of a song that appears on the record and it’s a word that holds a spe­cial mean­ing for the group. Dave Hay­wood explains, “The word ‘golden’ to me con­jures up a lot of pic­tures. In the title track, it depicts dri­ving down the road at sun­set but, to me, it also depicts a spe­cial time in our career…a ‘golden,’ spe­cial time for us.”
