In the wake of the March 2nd storms that resulted in a spinoff of destructive tornadoes, Miranda Lambert has announced that she’ll be donating 100% of the proceeds from remaining ticket sales of her Louisville, Kentucky, concert to the American Red Cross. Miranda is scheduled to make a tour stop at the KFC Center March 24th. Since parts of Kentucky were so severely hit by the tornadoes, she selected a concert in that state to be the benefit show.
Miranda made history with her new music video for “Over You,” because it was the highest video debut in the history of CMT’s “Top 20 Countdown” show. Written by Lambert and husband Blake Shelton, “Over You” is about Shelton’s brother who died in a car crash when both were teens. In two weeks, the video has more than 1.5 million views on Vevo.
