Next American Idol Judge?

“Amer­i­can Idol” is revamp­ing its judg­ing panel, hav­ing hired Mariah Carey this week. While sea­son one win­ner Kelly Clark­son feels sea­son four win­ner Car­rie Under­wood would be a great judge, execs at Fox are report­edly con­sid­er­ing another coun­try star – Brad Pais­ley. Dead­line reports that they are seri­ously con­sid­er­ing Pais­ley for an open chair, as Jen­nifer Lopez and Steven Tyler move on.

    It’s great to know that Mariah Carey is onboard for Amer­i­can Idol. Now there’s rumor that it’s pos­si­ble there’s a few other coun­try starts eye­ing the posi­tion. I know I’m most hope­ful Brad Pais­ley will get the vacant seat. It’s great being able to watch my favorite show with­out the inter­rup­tion of com­mer­cials. Now that I have the Auto Hop fea­ture I will be able to watch all my future shows com­mer­cial free on my prime­time record­ings. I was stoked when a cou­ple of my cowork­ers at Dish showed me how this first worked. The Auto Hop doesn’t erase any of the com­mer­cials or any of the con­tent. It’s like when you use the fast for­ward but­ton on the remote. The com­mer­cials will always be there if you want to watch them, Auto hop just does the fast for­ward­ing for you. Now I can save the wear and tear on my remote by not hav­ing to fast for­ward every ten minutes.
