Miranda Lam­bert is a known pet lover and she even helps run the char­ity Mut­tNa­tion, which helps to pro­mote the health and well being of ani­mals through bet­ter care. Now, the singer has teamed up with the dog food brand Pedi­gree and their “Pedi­gree Feed­ing Pro­gram” ini­tia­tive, which helps home­less dogs across the coun­try by pro­vid­ing them with dog shel­ters with free food. Miranda tells Coun­try Weekly, “It’s so cool for me to be part of it because my pas­sions are music and ani­mals. They (Pedi­gree) has saved shel­ters up to $100,000 in the past so they are able to use that money for other things.”
