Taylor Swift has reached out to the family of a fallen Marine. Sgt. Wade D. Wilson loved Taylor. A combat buddy, former Marine Cpl. Josh Marreel, says in a YouTube post that Sgt. Wilson “even slept with a poster of you in between our beds in Afghanistan.” Sergeant Wilson was killed May 11th during combat in Afghanistan. So his combat friends asked Taylor if she would reach out to his parents to honor his sacrifice. Taylor has done that. And she sent a handwritten note to the fallen Marine himself, a note that was attached to some flowers. “Wade, thank you for loving my music,” she wrote. “I won’t forget it and I will never forget you. Love, Taylor Swift.” Taylor promised the family she would wear Sergeant Wilson’s dog tags in her next music video.
