Cassadee Pope won NBC’s “The Voice” last night during a third season finale that included performances by Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, Smokey Robinson and Bruno Mars, among others. Pope, 23, even got to perform with her idol Avril Lavigne before the show’s verdict came down. Pope was coached by country star Blake Shelton and slightly switched her rock style to pop and country as the season went on. The big payday and recording contract was the first prize awarded to a female on the program and the second win for coach Blake Shelton.
