Tracy Byrd and his wife Michelle are recov­er­ing at home after a car acci­dent that totaled their Ford Excur­sion Tues­day. The acci­dent, which also involved a 64-year-old woman in a Toy­ota, took place on High­way 69, roughly 15 miles north of Beau­mont, Texas, in the early after­noon. Fol­low­ing the acci­dent, Michelle under­went two oper­a­tions on her left foot, but called her­self “blessed” later that evening in a post on Face­book. While all three peo­ple involved in the acci­dent were taken to the hos­pi­tal, no seri­ous injuries have been reported.
