500lbs Elvis

For Elvis impersonator Peter Vallee, recreating “The King of Rock and Roll’s” big voice is a piece of cake… Also a literal piece of cake for Vallee is re-creating Presley’s notorious waistline from his final days. So now begins a new challenge for Peter: drop those last few pounds! And by few, he means 150 to match the real Elvis at his maximum weight. So far, he’s come leaps and pounds: his original weight was a whopping 960 pounds in 2005, until a drastic diet got him down to 480 pounds in October of 2010. Currently weighing in at 500 pounds, he says he’d simply “like to be able to sit in a vehicle comfortably and walk a long distance without getting winded.” Plus, he’s got to be able to jump and jive—after all, Vallee was named by Time Magazine as one of the Top 10 Elvis impersonators of all time.
