Cop Breaks into Home


Police in Penn­syl­va­nia said an offi­cer was charged with tres­pass­ing and crim­i­nal mis­chief for allegedly break­ing into a neighbor’s home to do his laun­dry. Inves­ti­ga­tors said Rankin police Offi­cer Jason Rocco was arrested after the owner of the home, who had not lived in the house for sev­eral months, told police he noticed the elec­tric bills were unusu­ally high, so he vis­ited the res­i­dence and found the dryer run­ning with clothes inside. Rocco was ques­tioned by offi­cers and he told them the back door to the home had already been bro­ken and he entered the house because he “had to do some laundry.”
