Let’s face it: first dates are awk­ward enough with­out the whole world watch­ing. Unfor­tu­nately for one bud­ding cou­ple, the whole world was watch­ing their first shot at love after they landed on the Jumbo-tron at an Ari­zona Dia­mond­backs game. Oh, the announc­ers had a field day with this one, as they pro­vided their own play-by-play com­men­tary as the cou­ple ner­vously laughed while on cam­era. What’s even worse? The announc­ers decided to poll the game crowd to see if the two should go on a sec­ond date. Luck­ily for the guy, his gal said, “yes.” But you have to won­der: with a sign in his lap read­ing “first date” with hearts on it—did he really think this was going to go any differently?
