A Cal­i­for­nia fam­ily says it will not be spend­ing money on any­thing for the entire month of Feb­ru­ary except fresh milk for their chil­dren.  Shel­ley and Bob Dun­ning of Davis said they made a final gro­cery store trip Jan­u­ary 31st and will be sub­sid­ing mainly on beans, frozen meat and rice dur­ing the month of Feb­ru­ary, and they and their four chil­dren will walk every­where they need to go.  The cou­ple said the only expense they are plan­ning for is ensur­ing there is fresh milk in the house for the kids.  All other spend­ing will be on hold for the month, they said.
