A Roberts woman gave birth in an Idaho Falls park­ing lot on her way to the hos­pi­tal Wednes­day. Maude Burns tells Local News 8 that she wasn’t due until May, but knew her baby was com­ing when she bat­tled con­trac­tions Tues­day night. Burns called her mother, a career nurse, to take her to Moun­tain View Hos­pi­tal early Wednes­day, but they didn’t quite make it. Patri­cia Burns deliv­ered her own grand­son in the House of Col­ors park­ing lot on Lin­coln Road. Mom and baby were reported happy and healthy after delivery.
