A Roberts woman gave birth in an Idaho Falls parking lot on her way to the hospital Wednesday. Maude Burns tells Local News 8 that she wasn’t due until May, but knew her baby was coming when she battled contractions Tuesday night. Burns called her mother, a career nurse, to take her to Mountain View Hospital early Wednesday, but they didn’t quite make it. Patricia Burns delivered her own grandson in the House of Colors parking lot on Lincoln Road. Mom and baby were reported happy and healthy after delivery.
