Ranger is one lucky dog. The 2-year-old bloodhound wasn’t out of work for long after being pink slipped by the Polk County, Oregon, sheriff’s office due to budget cuts. He found a new job with the Bend Police Department. Ranger was delivered free of charge. He joins two other dogs with the department. They’ll be trained in tracking missing people or fugitives and sniffing out evidence.
