A Swedish man con­verted his rub­ber boat into an air­craft so he could keep tabs on his herd of rein­deer this Christ­mas. Stig Nord­spets, 56, said he learned about an Ital­ian man who made a sim­i­lar air­craft from a rub­ber boat and decided to make his own. Nord­spets said he is on the look­out for other uncon­ven­tional air­craft and is con­sid­er­ing buy­ing a small gyro­copter, pre­sum­ably to assist Santa.
