In honor of today’s (1/21) pres­i­den­tial inau­gu­ra­tion, the White House has cre­ated a Spo­tify playlist of songs by artists per­form­ing at the big event. That’s right, Pres­i­dent Barack Obama has a Spo­tify playlist and it includes every­thing from coun­try super­star Brad Pais­ley to pop princess Katy Perry. Did you know that the offi­cial swear­ing in of Pres­i­dent Obama actu­ally took place on Sun­day? Chief Jus­tice John Roberts per­formed the cer­e­mony at the White House. At today’s event in Wash­ing­ton, D.C. the Pres­i­dent and Vice Pres­i­dent Joe Biden will take their oaths for the pub­lic on the West Front of the U.S. Capi­tol. Fol­low­ing the inau­gu­ra­tion is a parade and the inau­gural ball.
