A Florida deal­er­ship is offer­ing $1,000 to any­one with infor­ma­tion about the theft of a set of mon­ster truck tires from a vehi­cle at the busi­ness. James Way, owner of North River Auto Sales in Braden­ton, said the 1977 black Ford mon­ster truck had been on his lot for less than a month when a friend noticed the tires miss­ing last Wednes­day. Way said it would have taken at least three or four men to remove each of the $900 tires and load them into a large truck or trailer. Way said his own secu­rity cam­eras were not work­ing at the time of theft, but he’s hop­ing cam­era from nearby busi­nesses may have caught some of the action. Police are investigating.
