A former tattoo artist who legally changed his name to “The Scary Guy” is using his persona – and very scary facial ink – to teach schoolkids to stop bullying. The Minnesota man formerly known as Earl Kauffman has become an in-demand “bully prevention guru.” His mission, according to his website, is “The Total Elimination of Hate, Violence and Prejudice Worldwide.” The 58-year-old changed his name in 1998, when 85% of his body was covered with tattoos. According to CNN, he charges as much as $6,500 for speaking engagements in schools. Scary says he’s performed in 19 states and frequently gets international requests.
