An Alaska man was res­cued after climb­ing a tree for exer­cise, falling and get­ting trapped upside down nearly 30-feet in the air. The 53-year-old was unin­jured after being pulled from the tree by fire­fight­ers. Author­i­ties told the Fair­banks Daily News-Miner he climbed the tree because it’s “some­thing he wanted to do.” Thank­fully, he was able to call a friend for help using a cell phone he was wear­ing like a neck­lace at the time.
