A guer­rilla knit­ter is in a Detroit sub­urb. The yarn bomber has hit Royal Oak at least twice. The mys­tery knit­ter has cov­ered a bus stop sign post and tree stump with yarn cre­ations. The sign pole is wrapped with what looks like a giant black-and-white striped sock with col­ored puff balls. Yarn bombers have left their mark in pub­lic spots from Berke­ley, Cal­i­for­nia, to Mel­bourne, Australia.
